Your role

Be part of Ampol's excellent 2-year program within their manufacturing division. As a Process Control Engineer Graduate, you’ll have the unique opportunity to gain a deep understanding of how this team controls the refinery to maximise profits.

You’ll be part of a dynamic team that operates in an agile environment, gaining first-hand experience in process control improvements to target refinery profitability, safety, and reliability. You will also be exposed to supporting the implementation of capital project improvements.

About you

To be successful, you will be entering your final year of study in 2024 or completed your undergraduate within the last two years and will be available to commence full-time employment in February 2025. Ampol seeks individuals who showcase complex problem-solving capabilities, and strong technical skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

Ideally, the Process Control Engineer Graduate will be an individual who has a strong interest in pursuing this as a career.

You will also have excellent academic results, be curious to learn, and be eager to develop your professional career.

In my current department, each day is different as the nature of the work and department is extremely dynamic and inconsistent. In other departments the pace of work has been slower and more consistent. The challenge in my role has been adjusting to the pace of each department.

    • The lack of training provided for Graduates.
