Are you a highly motivated student currently studying Chemical engineering? They’re inviting you to be part of the excellent student vacation program within their manufacturing division. As a Chemical engineering student, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work in a major hazard facility in a metropolitan area.

About you

They are seeking ambitious and driven students currently studying Chemical Engineering, to join our full-time Student Vacation Program during the summer break from November 2024 to February 2025 at the Lytton Refinery, located in Brisbane.

To be successful, you will be a current undergraduate student, have strong communication skills, an outstanding approach to customer service and love working in a team environment. You will have excellent academic results as well as a passion for solving complex problems. The preference is for students currently in their penultimate year of study.

In my current department, each day is different as the nature of the work and department is extremely dynamic and inconsistent. In other departments the pace of work has been slower and more consistent. The challenge in my role has been adjusting to the pace of each department.
