Our Vacation Program
Our Vacation Program is designed to give you the best BDO experience possible by integrating you into the team on day 1! You will be assigned a "buddy" that will make sure your placement is jam-packed with exciting work and activities.
We will be offering the vacation program over the winter break and summer break.
Winter program: Monday 21 June – Friday 16 July 2021
Summer program: Monday 22 November – Friday 17 December 2021
Our Vacation Program is our preferred talent pipeline to our Graduate positions, therefore those looking for a Graduate role within BDO WA are strongly encouraged to apply for Vacation work prior to completion of studies.

What you will need to succeed
Applications for our Vacation Program are welcome from students in their penultimate (2nd) year of a Commerce, Business or Law degree, with an Accounting/Finance/Economics/IT or Law major.

I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

Great opportunity to learn. People are nice and not getting annoyed when I ask questions.
Never any pressure to stay late.
The training is great, I have learned a lot in my time here.
Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.
The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
