Although our team has been subject to a few restructures, the team has been great to work with. Being the younger of the team, everyone has been very welcoming and has made me feel include. We also have a team Discord after hours where we have general conversation.

Flexible working arrangement is in place to allow for remote and office work. My team in particular gets along well and Boeing has a well-established Social Club to host cool events and other initiatives outside of work.

Work is structured as team based (10ish people). Semi open plan office. People from other teams sitting in the same room. Interesting (not necessarily work related) conversations between work due to the office plan. Lots of ex-military with good stories. Not too many young people (getting better with the early careers program). Lunch time crossword and puzzles as a group in the break room. REACH program also available for networking (during and after office hours).

The culture on my project is very good, but I've heard that other projects aren't as good. The culture in the office is built on trust and respect, and management allows employees to be very flexible with how they work. After hours the culture is very good with many employees getting along and often attend social events together.

The culture in the Adelaide office is very positive; most people are very friendly and willing to extend a helping hand if needed. Most people work with colleagues who are based in Brisbane and/or Newcastle, so there's ample opportunity to interact with a wide variety of different people. This does however bring about issues with not being able to interact with colleagues in person, some people will only have virtual communications with their managers. However in general, everyone is really supportive and it's a great, flexible environment to work in.

Teamwork is great people help when asked. It is a bit hard to socialize amongst team members who are much older and don’t come from the same background like university as myself. A lot of them are also ex-military so the hierarchy is strict.
