We are seeking highly motivated students currently studying Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry. We offer an exciting Student Vacation Program during the summer break from late November 2020 to February 2021 at the Lytton Refinery, located in Brisbane.

To be successful, you will be a current undergraduate student, have strong communication skills, an outstanding approach to customer service and love working in a team environment. You will have excellent academic results as well as a passion for solving complex problems.

You will gain exposure to a wide range of business areas and work with our team of professional engineers at the refinery. As well as invaluable hands on experience at an oil refinery, you will acquire knowledge and development needed to build your core chemist/engineering skills.

In my current department, each day is different as the nature of the work and department is extremely dynamic and inconsistent. In other departments the pace of work has been slower and more consistent. The challenge in my role has been adjusting to the pace of each department.
