The Role

Cardno is a multidisciplinary team of engineers / environmental scientists / surveyors who work on a broad range of projects from Buildings, Transport, Urban Design, Urban & Transport Planning, Geotechnical, Water Infrastructure / Water Resources, Coastal, Environmental Assessments and much more

As a mechanical engineer you will work within Cardno's Building Services team developing your skills to deliver design solutions for AC / exhaust systems, in commercial, high-rise and residential buildings.
The graduate program has been designed to give you hands-on practical experience enabling you to fast track your career. The 2-year program will develop a range of skills to give you a broader knowledge of consultancy and set you up for a successful career.

This is an outstanding opportunity for graduates that are due to complete their studies by the end of 2021 to join a Global Consultancy in Jan 2022.

About you

You will be Making a Difference by –

  • Participate as a team member in the completion of building service projects, proposals and feasibility studies
  • Work with seniors to develop solutions to complex design challenges
  • Attend client meetings, site visits and deliver a quality focussed service to Cardno's clients
  • Undertake work related training and self-development for career advancement
  • Collaborate within a team of technical specialists

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering with completion in 2021
  • A passion to work within an engineering consultancy working on design projects
  • You demonstrate a commitment and curiosity to your craft outside of your studies

  • You have the ability to get involved and learn from others, whilst also contributing to a vibrant team
