Your role

Citi's Institutional Clients Group (ICG) seeks Summer Interns to join their Commercial Banking team in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The program focuses on Citi Commercial Bank (CCB), a global line of business within Citigroup catering to mid-sized companies with revenues between $10 million and $1 billion. CCB strives to be the preferred global bank for trade-oriented companies, acting as a trusted advisor offering client-centric solutions for long-term growth and facilitating their cross-border expansion.

The Summer Analyst Program is dedicated to giving future business leaders a complete view of Citi's business. Through mentorship, training and career development programming, Summer Analysts can expect to finish the program with a broad understanding of the Commercial Banking business, as well as the operational intricacies of Citi. Tailored projects for Summer Analysts could be within these business areas:

  • Relationship management
  • Credit Lending Management
  • Client segment strategy
  • Business planning and analysis
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) and Control
  • Process design

    Training & development

    The Summer Analyst Program cultivates a key pipeline for Citi's Full-time Analyst Program by equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed for success.  Selected applicants will participate in an intensive 11-week program. Throughout the program, Summer Analysts gain in-depth and immersive experience by working on projects within Citi's key businesses or functions. Additionally, the program provides essential skills training and a comprehensive orientation to Citi's culture. To further support professional growth, Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to participate in buddy programs, networking events, speaker series, and other structured development initiatives.

    About you

    Requirements:

    • You are in your penultimate year of university pursuing any degree in any discipline
    • You have demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
    • Enthusiasm, competency, and innovation
    • Someone with a global outlook
    • Interest in working with local SME
    • Results-oriented and a good team player
    • Someone who is highly numerate with first-class analytical skills
    • You have a strong understanding of and/or willingness to learn the global banking landscape
