Moving up ranks is fairly easy. Just hit your KPIs and you will be progressed.
Graduate, Perth
Knowing your role and delivering above expectations
Graduate, Perth
Fast progression, good holistic review of performance, value initiative and training but also character.
Graduate, Sydney
Possibility to move up to senior con. Takes ownership of takes and mentoring of others.
Midlevel, Perth
Employees will typically progress through the ranks every 2-3 years depending on performance.
Graduate, Sydney
Dependent on relations more than abilities.
Midlevel, Sydney
There is a clear framework for consultant to move up the ranks.
Graduate, Melbourne
Unclear promotion after cadet program. Limited ability to transfer among teams. There is no channel to apply a different team after the cadet program, you have to apply like a regular university student for a grad/consultant role e.g. the 2 years working for EY does not provide with a leg up if you are reapplying. It seems inappropriate to have to retake the EY cognitive testing and "firm fit" test again.
Intern, Sydney
promotions have been consistent with what was expected
Midlevel, Sydney
Varies based on rank and team and individuals demonstrated capabilities. But in general, junior ranks are promoted fairly rapidly.
Experienced, Sydney
Just hard work and constant improvement
Midlevel, Perth
Promotion possibilities are strong and routinely discussed with mentors. The expectations for each rank are clearly defined, making it easy to see the requirements for your progression.
