Glencore Zinc Assets Australia has a number of opportunities opening to graduating or recently graduated university students to join our Civil Engineering Graduate Program. About the Role
As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing specifications, contracting scopes of work, estimates and schedules, business presentations and reports, coordinating design and constructions consultants and contractors, and providing technical support to maintenance and operations personnel within the department. 

The successful applicant will have:

• A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
• Have graduated from university within the last 2 years

• McArthur River, Northern Territory  (FIFO from Darwin). Situated in the remote Gulf of Carpentaria 900 km southeast of Darwin, McArthur River Mine (MRM) is a world-class zinc-lead mine with a long future ahead of it. Flying in and Out from Darwin, you spend your onsite time in a camp with a dining room, bar, gym, movie theatre, golf driving range, volleyball courts, cricket pitch, and swimming pool.
   
• Townsville, North Queensland  (Residential). Located on the coast in tropical North Queensland, Glencore’s Townsville Operations encompass Copper Refineries Pty Ltd and Glencore Port Operations. Our Townsville Operations mark the final link in Glencore’s fully integrated north Queensland supply chain, connecting the natural resources we produce with markets around the world. Copper Refineries Pty Ltd is one the world’s leading electrolytic copper refineries, capable of producing 300,000 tonnes per year of premium-quality ISA brand LME Grade A copper cathode using Glencore’s proprietary IsaKIDD refining process. Glencore Port Operations at the Port of Townsville is the export gateway for our north Queensland products.
