About the Role

As a Graduate you will be exposed to a variety of geotechnical tasks within the operations, working closely with the Principal Opencut and Underground Geotechnical Engineers as well as site Geotechnical Engineers to ensure organisational goals are met. In addition, you will apply engineering knowledge to provide timely and safe solutions to meet the challenges required by Glencore’s opencut and underground operations.

As a part of your development, you will undertake various tasks that are required from both a corporate and mine site perspective that will provide you with a broad spectrum of the knowledge required to become a competent Geotechnical Engineer in the coal mining industry.  With plenty of technical training opportunities, you are really learning from the best, in the best environment. About you:

• A Bachelor of Geotechnical Engineering or similar, Civil Engineering qualifications are also considered;
• Graduated from university within the last 2 years
