Your role

Minara Resources has an opportunity for a Graduate Process or Metallurgical Engineer to join their established and dedicated team.

The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team that is responsible for monitoring and optimising plant process performance. Team members will have the opportunity to investigate process deviations and undertake continuous improvement projects.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting area Process Engineers with routine process monitoring and reporting
  • Undertaking routine process planning and forecasting activities
  • Identifying and reporting deviations from process targets
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Championing process changes through the Management of Change (MOC) process
  • Undertake fieldwork activities such as sampling or inspections

About you

This role would suit a motivated Engineer looking to get started in the mining and minerals industry by working at a complex processing plant.

You will also have:

  • An aptitude for working in a team
  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy
  • Experience with MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word
