Your role

Glencore is seeking a Graduate Process Engineer to join their Pyrometallurgy team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the ongoing development and implementation of their extractive process technologies. This position reports directly to the Senior Process Engineer. This role is based in Brisbane with opportunities for short-term travel around the globe. It has a flexible start date and would suit those who have recently graduated or are graduating end of 2024.

With training, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for:

  • Technology development
  • Supervision of test-work programs
  • Process and flowsheet design
  • Plant design
  • Project delivery
  • Marketing and business development
  • Site support
  • Commissioning
  • Chemistry design of new processes

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering
  • A keen interest in pyrometallurgy, metallurgy, smelting and extractive engineering
  • The ability to travel overseas for short periods, when required.
