A very important part of our recruitment activity each year at Grant Thornton is Graduate Recruitment across all service lines at our firm. We are looking for a casual Graduate Recruitment Coordinator to support our People and Culture team commencing in February 2022 until the end of April 2022. We envisage a minimum of 20 hours per week with some flexibility for additional hours.

Your enthusiasm and drive will be utilised to ensure our Graduate applicants have an extremely positive candidate experience through their application process.

With training and support provided your responsibilities will include:

  • Screening of application documents
  • Screening and assessment  of video interviews
  • Booking of candidates into assessment centres and individual interviews
  • Administrative support
  • On-campus support of student association events
  • On-campus and in-office support of student networking events

In order to be considered the key requirements of the role include:

The ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week with some flexibility for additional hours commencing mid-February 2022 and working casually until April 2022.

  • Completion or in progress towards a Degree in HR, Psychology, Business or similar desirable
  • Previous work experience gained ideally in a client facing role such as retail, hospitality or a service industry
  • Initiative and the ability to think independently
  • Sound time management and organisational skills
  • Experience using Outlook, Excel and the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar systems essential
  • Confidence in engaging with candidates by phone and in person
  • Additional hours up to 38 hours per week may be required between late March and the end of April
  • Some paid evening work attending on-campus events may be required

    • Sometimes you are required to work after hours.
