The teams are all very easy to connect with and all levels of the hierarchy are approachable, collaboration is encouraged and imperative to ensure the job gets done and all stakeholders are well informed. Friday night drinks every week

The people are honestly the best part of the company.

So far, the culture is very good at the office and project team, i have a lot of great people around who are open minded and friendly. Usually, we go for after work drink on Friday and it is very good to socialise with the rest of the project team and get to know them.

Generally positive work culture from my personal experience. Office colleagues and friendly. Teams may work remotely and distributed across the country.

John Holland is very proactive in maintaining culture both in office and after hours by hosting catering events every month and Friday drinks every fortnight. On top of that, there is always an event happening to acknowledge culture and team bonding. Moreover. after tender submissions, John Holland as an amazing ritual to host tender submission lunch for the team to celebrate teamwork and provide a platform for colleagues to socialize. Similarly, the graduate program is inclusive of various graduate networking events to gather graduates all over Australia to bond and network.

Everyone is really professional but can also have a good laugh at the right time. Outside of work everyone is mates, work can be switched off and talk about things other than work.

Very good culture as team working together to deliver the project safe and on time. After hours team have a good catch-up as we have to know each other very well.

John Holland is super supportive and inclusive. The senior leadership is very approachable and willing to share their time. We have frequent opportunities to socialise and network with in-office morning tea events along with after-work drinks.

Office culture is friendly and helpful both in and out of the office. It can be a bit daunting as there is a "grind" culture as people work 10-12 hours on an average day. This can often make you feel like you can't leave because everyone else is still there, often resulting in you working many hours longer than you are contacted to a week.

The culture is quite good in my team. As a graduate I have lots of questions which senior engineers are always happy to answer. We often work on big issues collaboratively which has been useful for my learning. People are friendly and occasionally go out for drinks/dinner on Fridays.

There's a room for improvement.

Clear structure and roles, if you don't know who needs to be involved, someone will always know. Everyone is really friendly and happy to help.

Culture among the teams I have worked in has been nothing but positive and helpful

Culture varies between site office and head office. site office has a very old school culture where work is priority, long hours, although fun and interesting. Head office has a very relaxed modern culture, flexible hours although more quiet and less social.

Great and one goal-focused team.

JHG has a strong culture in bonding, it has been a very enjoyable experience working in JHG team where people understand and support each other at work, but also maintaining close and healthy relationships outside work.
