- conduct client meetings and interviews to gather information and understand business challenges - work with client data with kearney's knowledge base and experience to identify patterns and deepen my understanding of the client's position - work internally with the team to understand the problems client is facing, then work together to present findings, recommendations, and action plans to clients ... No two days are ever the same though

Pros and cons of working at Kearney

Pros

  • Amazing opportunities for growth; changes the way you interpret challenges and problems in your life

  • Leadership is extremely approachable and sees juniors as genuine thought partners

  • We went to Thailand for a week-long training induction covering our consulting skillset

  • The best thing about working at Kearney is the people! Genuinely nice people that I get along with on the job and outside of work

  • Very satisfied with pay and bonus

Cons

    • The most challenging aspect of working here, same as every other consulting firm, is the long hours

    • The hours and work-life balance can be a challenge however this is being proactively managed through various channels and is a key topic that is discussed frequently

    • Whilst juniors are given tremendous ownership, such ownership results in accountability, which can be stressful at times

    • Our office sometimes can't accommodate everyone if we all come in on Fridays

    • Long hours and demanding workloads
