Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Everyone works really well as a team together with a great support network especially at times when you are feeling overwhelmed.

Structure and hierarchy is pretty standard within the office, all the engineers get along very well and can swap between banter and work related talks fluidly. After hour culture is enjoyable we try to go out once a month if we can.

Regardless of title, everyone is very helpful, understanding and welcoming. There are lots of social events after work however some of them are not inclusive.

Site team - very collaborative among foreman, engineers, EHS, design team and commercial team. Most willing to help each other where possible in the office with work. Small interaction after hours with PT sessions after work and the occasional drink. Company-wide there could be more social events scheduled, such as a company/regional Christmas party to encourage socialisation.

There is a hierarchy of skill and importance within the office. Everyone respects one another despite their level differences. Everyone is also inclusive of one another and invite to social gatherings once a week. Social life in office and after hours is existent. It is never odd to see different team members mingle with one another. Cooperation and teamwork is to be highlighted within each team. Everyone knows who they should be talking to when a problem arises or when someone is to be credited for their work.

The teamwork and cooperation within the office/on-site has been amazing. Despite clear structure and roles within the office, there is little cause for hesitation when it comes to communicating issues with any of the site engineers, PE's, SPE's or CM. The culture is built in a way that you can communicate with everyone in the office. On top of this, the out-of-hours culture has been amazing, with after works drinks occurring regularly, Christmas parties and post-work fitness clubs. All of these events are very inclusive and always welcoming.

Most of the people are great and supportive, but the odd team member can behave/react inappropriately in different situations.

Everyone is very friendly. Even though the roles provide an organisational hierarchy, managers never act superior to other employees. Everyone is respected and heard. There is a strong sense of teamwork. Everyone is always willing to help each other if they have capacity.
