Our Team
Wells Advisory has merged with MinterEllison Consulting. Our team is a combination of legal experts and management consultants who work collaboratively to solve the complex problems in higher education. The MinterEllison Education Consulting practice provides consulting advice to senior executive leaders, encompassing regulation, governance, strategy, business case development, growth and market expansion strategy, transaction support and financial analysis. Our clients include government, regulatory agencies, leading universities, independent research institutes, private education businesses, technology companies and investors.
The Role
We currently have a full-time position available in our Melbourne office for an ambitious Consultant who is looking to join a growing Education Consulting practice with career progression opportunities available.

Junior lawyer in the corporate m&a team
Drafting advising attending conferences / basic court hearings.
As a graduate lawyer, i work across most matters the team takes on. Tasks generally include legal research, drafting correspondence, drafting court forms, attending hearings and assisting in management/discovery of documents. I am also able to solely assist the partner on smaller matters, which involves greater conduct of the matter in terms of managing the matter, the documents, client correspondence, providing advice and strategy considerations.

My only issue is that we hot desk, meaning a different desk each day so we donโt have the opportunity to make or personalise our own space.
