Culture at Project Everest Ventures

9.7
9.7 rating for Culture, based on 7 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Culture within the team is a balanced mixture of friendly banter and solid work. Everyone in the team is passionate and motivated to ensure we are doing our best and most productive work during precious working hours. What I love about the team culture is that there is a great understanding that everyone is learning and developing in this space. Your team leaders and senior leaders are there to support your experience throughout and are there to help you develop your own leadership skills as well which I really valued during my internship. After hours, all the different teams come together for dinner/games/riddles/downtime. What I love about this is that you are able to form a close working relationship with your specific project team, but are also able to form many new relationships with the wider group. It creates a big family vibe while you're on your internship.

The culture is one of the best parts about working with this company. During work hours everyone is motivated and really hustles to get everything done. The team leaders and particularly the senior leaders put in so much effort to make sure the workplace has the right culture by encouraging movement, hydration and fun in a way that makes everyone feel happy and motivated. The hierarchy and structure of the work place is very effective as it allows interns to have responsibilities and feel like they can really contribute to their projects so senior leaders can use their more time efficiently and focus on the bigger picture. Socialising is a big part of the culture especially out of office hours. Meals, evenings and often weekends are spent together and form friendships that will continue out of the workplace when the month is over. The friendships formed in this space are really special not only because you are surrounded by like minded people but you get to share a very remarkable experience together than unless you have experienced it you can't really understand it.

Both in the office and after hours the culture is welcoming, open and fun. There are many opportunities to bond with fellow interns and leaders present in country that has resulted in long lasting friendships. Project Everest Ventures work very hard to ensure the culture stands by their values and is a unique and fun experience.
The culture is unique, positive and unlike any other. It is inclusive, rewarding and is constantly urging a growth mindset within each individual. The entire organisation is a team.

Majority of people who go overseas with you are super passionate about having an impact. This is reflected in the staff who are so motivated to push their projects forward and ensure the wellbeing of everyone over the 4 week period.

Project Everest Ventures have a fabulous sense of community and everyone has a great bond with each other. Unfortunately, being overseas it was something I missed out on.
