If you're in your second last (penultimate) year of graduate or postgraduate studies, this program is designed for you. The program runs over four to eight weeks (length will vary across our offices) and includes full-time work experience during the university break.

Support our clients by unifying their customer data into a single profile, enabling them to meet rapidly changing consumer expectations. Using the Salesforce platform, help clients with data-driven decision-making, personalised customer experiences, automation, scalability, and best practices. Your problem-solving skills, integrity, and growth mindset will make a significant impact across industries such as Financial Services, Energy Utilities & Resources, Health, Education, and Retail and Consumer Goods. Along the way, you'll build relationships and skills for lifelong success.
What will a normal day look like?
- Read client documentation detailing the current state, and meet the client team to better understand the business problem.
- Leverage an existing industry standard or PwC proprietary framework or delivery methodology to analyse or hypothesise on client needs and solutions.
- Commence gathering client requirements and feedback and research activities to help the team analyse and advise the client of the future state.
As a Vacationer in CustomerTech Platforms - Salesforce, you’ll need a degree in Commerce, Engineering, Information Technology or similar. You’ll also need to be either an AU citizen, NZ citizen, AU Permanent Resident or an international student with a work rights visa.
Anticipated program dates are November 25th, 2024 to January 24th, 2025.

Reviews
Varies from project to project. On my current project this involves creating business and technical requirements, hosting standups, communicating progress to the client, managing the sprint cadence (creating the meetings on outlook), liaising with the QA on test estimates , providing testing assistance when needed and explaining the business requirements to the developers to get the solution design created.
Assisting in conducting internal audits and compliance reviews.
Mainly involved in investment research and operations for providing clients with investment advice.

Pros
The people here are all genuine and open... I enjoy working in a high-performing environment where I feel that my skills are developing every day.
The support and growth opportunities from the team of individuals with different experiences.
From the day I started, I felt incredibly welcomed and supportive. No matter how high up in the company someone was they still would give me the time to help me with any questions I had. My team made work fun and enjoyable.
The office itself is great, especially the access to the cafe where free warm drinks are available before 12. The company has a flexible 'dress for your day' dress code, so people can often come in relaxing clothing, although many still prefer business wear
Our managers are highly accessible and make excellent mentors.
Cons
The working hours can be quite demanding
I think everyone, not just PwC, would like to be paid more for what they do and when compared with other graduate roles we are paid to a similar standard.
Time in grade is the main driver for promotion.
The pressure at times to meet deadlines that may not necessarily be that realistic and the billable hour demands.
There should be more formal training programs for technical skills here.
