Location

  • Cannington is one of the world's largest and lowest-cost producers of silver and lead.  Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville.   
  • Cannington mine provides resort-style onsite accommodation with laundry and meal services, as well as sporting and gym facilities and is Fly-in/Fly-out from Townsville or Brisbane

About you  

We’re targeting students in their final year for roles who are studying:  

  • Mining Engineering  
  • Electrical Engineering  
  • Mechanical Engineering   
  • Geology  
  • Geotechnical 
  • Surveying 
  • Metallurgy

You will need to be in your final year, set to graduate by December 2022, with a relevant university degree and have the right to live and work in Australia.  
You will be willing to complete a medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening and be available to commence work in February 2023.  You should be able to work on a Fly-In/Fly-Out basis from Brisbane or Townsville.
