About the role:

Working in Ventia’s Wollongong office, we are seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Ventia BlueScope team. Working on a range of essential and diverse projects throughout Australia, ideally, this position will commence mid-late July.

About the contract

Ventia has had a longstanding relationship with BlueScope in the Illawarra region of NSW, providing plant maintenance, engineering and project services and a skilled workforce for numerous BlueScope projects, as well as fabrication facilities. We have recently renewed our contract with BlueScope for maintenance services with the addition of fire services at BlueScope's Port Kembla Steel Works.

About you:

To be eligible for the graduate program, you must meet the following criteria: 

• Successfully completed Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree within the last two years.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft suite
• Hold full work rights to work in Australia (PR, or Australian Citizen).
• All applicants must be willing to undergo a National Police Check and be able to pass a pre-employment medical which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
