About the Role

Your responsibilities as a Visagio Technology Consultant with a Data & Analytics focus will include, but are not limited to:

- Delivering comprehensive business solutions through the ability to combine a strategic overview with a concise and data-driven approach.
- Performing data analysis and gathering insights for clients' recommendations.
- Developing and implementing advanced analytics models, including machine learning, GenAI, simulation, optimisation, and other data-driven solutions.
- Bringing an innovative approach towards data storytelling challenges faced by our clients.
- Integration and contribution to support a fast-growth company to continue to achieve the extraordinary.

About You (Key Skills and Competencies)
- A degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Actuarial Science or related disciplines is preferred.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving the desired goals, considering changes in deadlines and scope of activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, being able to engage with diverse audiences within both the project team and the client.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and gathering insights for project recommendations.
- Ability to illustrate a very robust fact-based approach to problem-solving.
- Passion for working with data and learning new methodologies, applications, and skills for analysis.
- Desired proficiency in a range of software packages and techniques such as Python, R, SQL, PowerBI, Mathematical Modelling and Machine Learning.
- Understanding of mining operations and practices is highly desirable but not required.

This application process consists of two phases: online test/video questions and interviews.

Online Test
The test is composed of questions that follow the GMAT format, which requires critical reasoning and logical analysis, as well as business cases questions. For Technology Consultants with a Data Science focus, code interpretation and quick coding questions (Python knowledge required) may be asked. 

Video Questions
Visagio will ask candidates to upload a video answering pre-determined questions as a part of the online test. Videos are reviewed alongside resume and university transcript as a part of our screening process.

Online / In-person Interviews
Successful applicants will each be interviewed for 50 minutes by Visagio partners and consultants. Approved candidates will be contacted by the Visagio team to discuss the ideal start date.

TIP: Good communication skills help you stand out and share your ideas clearly with interviewers. Demonstrating an interest in the company and understanding our core values will also put you a step ahead.
