How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Most direct managers (within the teams I've been through) are quiet busy though other managers are very open to discussion and mentors.

Immediate formal leader & area managers are really good. However internal communication issues are had above them at HoF & Exec level. Lack of approachability is a key issues
