All eag's and people i have spoken to on this topic has left me with the impression westpac doesn't just speak empty platitudes but shows commitment to diversity which is great.

My area is very inclusive in relation to gender, race, religion, secuality, etc.. certain teams can be 'boys clubs' but there is no issues for females when they do join. not much offered in ways of staff retention, but flexible for families with children (e.g. return to work part time/condensed hours, can take time to pick up children from care).

There are a number of employee action groups that are aimed at ensuring diversity on every front is present and communicated within the bank. Additionally, diversity is a key metric for Bank success, and is kept at the forefront of the Banks senior, fortnightly updates.
