The Scholarship in a nutshell.
For starters, there’s funding. You could get $5,000 per year over three years to really inspire your thinking. But that’s just the start. We’ll help you develop into a stronger leader through the Disruptive Leaders Program, which includes five days in Asia as part of an international learning experience (pending no travel restrictions). You will also have access to paid internships and inspiring mentors. Best of all, you’ll become a lifelong member of the Westpac 100 Scholars Network; an inclusive group of some of the brightest young minds in Australia.
Ready to be part of the innovation nation?
You’re about to embark on an exciting experience at university – imagine where you could take this with the chance to learn from industry leaders within Westpac Group and beyond. We’ll introduce you to some of the most innovative minds to inspire your thinking, push you further, and give you new insights into your specialist field
We’ve already done the networking for you.
As a Westpac Young Technologist, you’ll become part of the Westpac 100 Scholars Network. Lifelong membership to this network gives you access to one of Australia’s most diverse meetings of like-minds. Drawing on the Scholars’ strong sense of purpose and desire to collaborate, the network is designed to be inspiring, influential and a life-long learning experience.
What does it take to be a Young Technologists Scholar?
A passion for technology and relentless curiosity – you are eager to explore how it can change the world for the better. We’ll also need to see your determination and desire to connect with others too – as well as the big ideas you have. So if you’re someone who never stops asking ‘what if?’, we should talk.
“The stand-out difference between the Westpac Scholarship to all other scholarships out there is the opportunities that are available to you. Not only are we incredibly privileged to receive money to support our studies, we are part of the W100 Scholars Network, which has a strong sense of community and offers immense support to each and every person.”
