Eligibility
You must be Australian or New Zealand Citizen OR an Australian Permanent Resident AND be in your final year of study of a university degree OR completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree no more than 3 years ago.
Youโll need to be available to start with us as a permanent employee in February 2024.
Our Digital Program
Westpac Digitalโs mission is to be the best digital bank in your pocket by focusing on delivering easier, faster, and even more secure digital experiences for our customers to manage their money.
We create digital experiences for our customers, delivering solutions and capability to meet their changing banking needs today and in the future.
From strategy development, digital adoption, sales and service, exceptional product design to experience and risk and compliance - we deliver leading digital experiences for our customers.
This is a 12-month program with 3 x 4-month rotations. As a graduate, you will gain experience across all aspects of Westpac Digital. Rotation areas and/or immersions could include digital project delivery, business analysis, change management, product ownership, risk and governance, strategy, eCommerce, customer experience and operations.
We have an extensive learning roadmap in place providing a broad scope of hands-on experience as well as networking events to facilitate connections with our wider Digital business.
Digital graduates continue to excel when securing post-program roles across the business; their goal remains to deliver simple and seamless digital experiences for our customers โ to be โthe best digital bank in your pocketโ.
Typically, graduates will secure roles within our delivery teams as business analysts, delivery managers, product owners or change managers.

We welcome graduates from all degree disciplines who are curious and love critical thinking and problem-solving.

A lot of admin work - booking meetings, writing minutes, making presentation packs, liaising with eas to organise higher-ups attendance. a lot of work is given to you that others in the team would rather not do - the important thing is to have a good attitude regardless of how passionate you are about it as that attitude is what people will talk about when you roll off/apply for internal roles.
