Just after lunch, an Engineers meeting is held to ensure the structure is progressing as planned. We all examine and mark up the drawings to ensure we are always a few weeks ahead with the planning of intricate details.
Some of my tasks are tracking and paying invoices for work completed by consultants, preparing fee proposal requests, and reviewing budgets for the current and future phases of the project.
Every week the development team is taken for a site walk by the Lendlease building to show the progress of works on site and talk through some of the emerging issues on site. This allows the development team to stay across all works.
