The best thing about my job is Genpact’s Genome service. I love to learn, I enjoy variety & change, so Genome let’s me upskill in my own time, while working full-time and without attending university classes.

I’m always interested in companies that provide an inclusive working culture of diversity and equality, as well as a growth mindset. I have found that Cognizant embodies all those things.

Experience is the best teacher! As cliché as it sounds, sitting in a lecture/tutorial is a great step towards your development, but it won’t teach you nearly as much as getting out there and exploring your interests. So, try to get as many internships as possible throughout the university, join societies that interest you, or even join a volunteering group. Such experiences will be the best investment in your growth.

Try to understand the bigger picture. Understand what role your piece of work is playing in the bigger objective or deliverable that your team is working towards.

I love that Kearney fosters a culture of continuous learning and development. Even more rewarding is that the firm actively seeks out and respects the opinions of junior staff, empowering teams of all experience levels to collaborate and contribute meaningfully.

I think the great thing about Audit is that you get exposure to and the opportunity to learn so much about so many different industries and therefore it gives you an opportunity to choose what industry you wish to specialise in. 

Ericsson Australia provides a great platform to graduates for kickstarting their career in the telecom sector. For me, the two rotations offered in the Graduate program helped me identify my area of interest and get into the technology domain that I’m passionate about.
