Join a dynamic, high-achieving team at Ember Advisors, a rapidly expanding boutique consultancy at the forefront of innovation in the public sector.

As an Associate Consultant or Associate Analyst, you will be a valued team member on consulting projects for our public sector clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Employing cutting-edge analytics techniques, such as machine learning and statistical modelling.
Extracting and interpreting key insights, crafting compelling visualizations and outputs that resonate with our clients and stakeholders.
Present insights and findings with clarity in client meetings, influencing decision-making and policy design.

Recruitment Process

About You

Australian citizenship required
Qualifications in actuarial studies, data science, maths, commerce, computer science, economics and/or finance
Previous consulting experience desirable but not essential
Demonstrated interest in solving complex problems in the public sector
A commitment to ethics and integrity
Experience working with or willingness to learn data analysis techniques (Excel, Python, R, modelling, visualisation)
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, and a creative mindset
Adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
Personal accountability – a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to take initiative and drive projects forward
Team player – having an ability to work well with others, positive attitude, and growth mindset
