Navitas Professional is a professional development and education provider that helps tertiary students, graduates and young professionals to access work placements, mentoring and training with respected Australian and global businesses. These programs enable students to develop skills critical to growing their corporate careers. The team offers tailored Work Integrated Learning programs for higher education, vocational education and industry partners.

Navitas Professional delivers the Professional Year Program (PYP) to international Accounting, IT and Engineering graduates. It is the only education provider in Australia to offer the PYP in all three career disciplines in eight locations: AdelaideBrisbaneCanberraDarwinHobartMelbournePerth, and Sydney. The PYP aims to build industry-specific and employability skills through a combination of coursework and internships.

Professional Year Program

The Professional Year Program is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs to address the skills shortage in Australia and provide graduates with the skills to improve their employability and understanding of the Australian work environment.

Incorporated within the 44 weeks Professional Year Program is a 12-week internship placement providing practical Australian workplace experience. The Navitas Professional Year Program incorporates the BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business as well as a choice of IELTS or PTE English language test preparation.

Career Experience Program

The Career Experience Program (CEP) is an 18-week work-readiness program designed for those looking to enhance their CV with business communication skills and a practical internship in their field of study. CEP is offered across a broad range of professions and is available to recent domestic and international graduates.

Professional Internship Program

Navitas Professional Internship Program (PIP) participants spend time immersed in a host organisation alongside Australian professionals. The program length can be tailored to the individual, with a recommended duration of 16 weeks for an effective workplace experience. PIP is offered across a broad range of professions and is available to Australian citizens, permanent residents and offshore international students and recent graduates.

Work Integrated Learning

Our offering has tailored training and flexible delivery to meet the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) needs of our tertiary and university partners. The program can be integrated into an overall study program or delivered in addition to formal studies.

Partners choose from a modularised curriculum of coursework units of study and Accredited Units of Competency, covering essential workplace health & safety and soft-skills topics. Study to Work internships provide real world work experience relevant to the area of study, and can be undertaken full-time or part-time.
