An exciting opportunity exists for an intern pharmacist to complete their internship with Ramsay Pharmacy in 2022 across our community and hospital pharmacies in Australia.

What is the Ramsay Health Care Fellowship Program?

Our program supports graduates and interns over a period of two years , ensuring a strong foundation is laid as soon as you step into a clinical setting during the initial intern year with the opportunity in the 2nd year for even  further professional development. You will experience a broad range of specialities and settings, ensuring your clinical and professional skills meet and exceed industry standards. We offer the support, empowerment and tools necessary to excel in your clinical career. This program will run alongside your external ITP in your intern year and set you up for success with the potential to fast track your career with continued employment in your first year as a registered pharmacist.

To be considered, you must have:

  • Successfully graduated from a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Be provisionally registered with AHPRA by February 2022
  • Be able to undertake a minimum of 12 months full-time employment (1824 supervised hours)
  • The ability to make sound decisions and accept responsibility for own practice
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements of relevant professional practice
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Be willing to embrace the values of The Ramsay Way

Pros

Cons

    • Paper based notes.

    • Stress and feeling overwhelmed sometimes.

    • When it gets busy and there doesn't seem to be enough staff.
