Each year WT recruits cadets and graduates from the quantity surveying, building and engineering disciplines.
As part of the programme each cadet is partnered with a senior WT staff member, usually an Associate or Director, who is charged with not only imparting their mentees with the requisite technical skills of a quantity surveyor and cost manager but instilling the essential values of impartiality, objectivity and integrity which mark a professional quantity surveyor.
This is achieved by fostering an environment where cadets and graduates are supported and challenged to build their knowledge base, back their decisions with solid research and extend themselves beyond their comfort zone while working on complex and interesting landmark projects.
WT is also committed to developing cadets from outside the quantity surveying discipline including those who have found their calling after initially studying in the architectural and engineering disciplines. This approach, which carries significant dedication from the management team, ensure mentees develop the requisite skills of a quantity surveyor and delivers well-rounded multi-skilled quantity surveyors to the industry.
