Great culture within teams and even projects, but disconnect between upper management and lower levels. LM social club provides additional opportunity to socialise with colleagues outside of work hours.
The two graduates from this year were myself (male), and a female. There is a level of respect that is maintained in the office around her and every other employee, so I do not see any discrimination in any form there.
Low-walled cubicles for easier communication but also allows for quiet periods. Location and facilities are well-presented and secure. We have a nice kitchen with free coffee from a pod machine. Dress code is semi-formal. Men wear suit pants and collared shirts, and women are in work clothes.
Relatively short interview with future manager. Went through university achievements and results, areas of study. Also discussed social activities listed on resume. Discussion of security clearance requirement to work for company.
UTS acknowledges the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people upon whose ancestral lands our university stands. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders both past and present, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.
