Cultural & Linguistic Diversity at Powerlink Queensland

We need more and more diverse perspectives.

The possibilities ahead of us require us to think differently. To question, challenge and innovate together.

Powerlink's Diversity and Inclusion Communities of Practice (COP) are an important way to raise awareness and promote diversity and inclusion at Powerlink. They are open for everyone to join.

This includes our Inclusive Energy Community of Practice, which supports an inclusive culture at Powerlink. Inclusive Energy builds awareness of key topics such as disability and mental health, cultural & linguistic diversity, flexible work and supporting parents and carers. We also actively support activities that centre on psychological safety and a speak up culture.

“I believe in creating an inclusive culture that enables people to be their authentic selves and celebrates the unique value that every person adds to Powerlink. I am passionate about creating a workplace where everyone feels seen, heard, connected and safe.”

- Aneel Mazhar, Design Coordinator and Chair of Inclusive Energy COP
