I am very proud to say I have worked in the electricity industry for 33 years at Powerlink and its predecessor Queensland Electricity Commission. Powerlink has provided me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge across the organization at many levels. Over my working career, Powerlink has also been more than just my employer with many close friendships and support networks formed with my colleagues. Powerlink continues to provide opportunities to continuously learn and challenge myself.”

– Dana Boxall, General Manager Community & Delivery Services

Powerlink's Diversity and Inclusion Communities of Practice (COP) are an important way to raise awareness and promote diversity and inclusion at Powerlink. They are open for everyone to join.

Gender Diversity in Energy takes a holistic approach to gender equality at Powerlink. They focus on gender equity initiatives across the employee lifecycle, building gender balance across all works teams and delivering activities that support Powerlink to be an employer of choice for all genders.

“Societies that value all genders and treat them equally thrive. Co-chairing the Community of Practice is one way I can influence a more equal future for myself, my colleagues and my children.”

- Faith Byers, Innovation Manager & Co-Chair of Gender Diversity in Energy COP
