Always busy, plenty to learn and plenty to do. I enjoy my work, and my workload. There is work stress, but nothing that I can't deal with. It keeps my day busy.

I am happy with the variety of work I get to be a part of. There are some extremely stressful periods followed by relaxed periods. This variation in workload can be taxing.

Changes every 6 months. At the moment within the Secondary Design Team, I have several assigned projects, where I manage the circuitry drawings for secondary system panels or any relevant systems (ie. DC supply for Protection Relays), work with the Protection team to create settings for Protection Relays, manage the procurement of equipment, and answer any design-related request from others.

Depending on which team I am a part of I am managing projects, commissioning high voltage infrastructure or designing complex automation schemes.

I have just started my new role within Secondary System Design - Automation so I'm still unfamiliar with my day-to-day responsibilities. As of right now, I have recently finished my onboarding training and I have completed my first engineering task request for a Voltage Transformer replacement. This task involved me to update several drawings detailing the change.

A good variety of work and very diverse. I work primarily for line strategies, but allow to lend a hand to secondary and comms team. I have given very high level of autonomy and freedom in my work which I need for my kind of work style. My direct supervisor reassures me the quality of my work and provides timely feedback and instructions.

Coordinate design teams to deliver designs on time

My role is to study generator and network performance. The work is fulfilling but can be draining.

The work is engaging and there is plenty to do every day. I run a lot of tests and simulations and it is interesting although it can be fatiguing. Projects run over years and the job is very much to comb through all the detail and identify problems. Things can easily be missed if you're not paying attention.

Good balance of learning and completing everyday work.

I'm learning a lot from my team members and have been given responsibilities to improve team processes using the skills I have and make a positive impact! I'm really thankful for my experience so far!

Graduate Program - Currently in the role of a Project Manager delivering renewable energy connection projects. I have mainly been involved in the proposal and design stage, preparing tender documentation for construction works for new substations or substation extensions.
